Colour Therapy
On February 24, 2022, my life and the lives of millions of people in Ukraine were overturned. I felt like I was numb, like there was a lump inside me, and my soul was heavy. For safety reasons, I left for France. But even there I could not calm down for a long time, all my thoughts were about Ukraine. I wandered around the city, shooting something on automatic, looking for an outlet for my emotions and feelings, until I came across little houses with coloured doors and windows. It was just what I needed. After that darkness, the world played with colour for me. It was a kind of both colour therapy and symbolism for me. After all, a door is like a symbol of transition from one state to another, and a window is like a metaphor for hope, for change. So I thought, the whole world opens its windows and doors for me, I need to rejoice that I'm alive, do what I can and move forward.
